7 Super Simple RV Camping Recipes Part 1

Searching for 7 Super Simple Recipes for RV Camping

I really wanted to come up with 7 Super Simple Recipes for RV Camping in the Fall but wanted recipes that could be used all year long because they are so good! I needed a week’s worth of meals that would make it easier to run to the grocery store and grab what I needed for a week of easy cooking and would leave much more time for family and fun!

Finding fast and easy recipes has always been a chore for me. I searched for a long time to find some simple recipes to be able to make while RV Camping and yet not be in the kitchen all day long! Plus, I needed the same kind of recipes to use at home to allow more time for family and less time cooking.

I finally found what I was looking for with these easy recipes. Everybody in my family seems to be happy with me cooking these meals and I am thrilled it doesn’t take much time! Here are SOWLE RV’s 7 Super Simple Recipes for RV Camping! Try them out for yourself and let us know what you think!

  2. Walking Tacos
  3. Mashed Potato Bake
  4. Mexican Bake
  5. Crockpot 4-Packets Roast
  6. Crockpot Chicken and Noodles
  7. Crockpot Potato Soup

 

Cowboy Soup

Ingredients

  • 2 lb Ground Beef
  • 2 Cans Minestrone Soup
  • 2 Cans Mild Rotel
  • 2 Cans Ranch Style Beans
  • 2 Cans Mixed Veggies

Instructions

  1. Brown Ground Beef and drain.
  2. Add Beef and all canned ingredients to large pot and stir.
  3. Simmer on low for 20 minutes.

 

 

Walking Tacos

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Ground Beef
  • 1 Package Taco Seasoning
  • 6 4 1/4 oz. bags of Chili Cheese Fritos Flavored Corn Chips
  • Taco Toppings of your choice we use Sour Cream, Shredded Cheese, Shredded Lettuce, Spanish Gardens Mexican Sauce and Chopped Tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Brown Ground Beef and Drain.
  2. Prepare Ground Beef per directions from your Taco Seasoning Packet.
  3. Remove ¼ of Chili Cheese Fritos from each bag and save for a snack for later.
  4. Pour ground beef mixture on top of Chili Cheese Fritos, then add all your toppings right into the bag!

 

Mashed Potato Bake

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 Can Tomato Soup
  • 1 Can Green Beans
  • 1 Container Hormel Garlic Mashed Potatoes for Microwave

Instructions

  1. Brown Ground Beef and Drain.
  2. Add Tomato Soup and Green Beans to Beef and stir.
  3. Cook for 2-3 minutes on stovetop then pour into casserole dish.
  4. Smooth Mashed Potatoes all over the top of casserole.
  5. Bake in oven at 300 degrees for 10 minutes.

 

Mexican Bake

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 15oz. Can Ranch Style Beans
  • 1 14.5 oz. Can Peeled and Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 10.75 oz. Can Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1 12 oz. Package Corn Tortillas
  • 4 Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 tbsp. Chili Powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Brown and drain ground beef.
  3. Add Chili Powder, Ranch Style Beans, Diced Tomatoes and Cream of Mushroom Soup to beef and stir.
  4. Line a 13×9 pan with Corn Tortillas.
  5. Pour ½ of Meat Mixture onto Corn Tortillas and add another layer of Corn Tortillas.
  6. Pour the rest of the Meat Mixture onto the Corn Tortillas.
  7. Finally, top with shredded cheese.
  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

 

Crockpot 4-Packets Roast

Ingredients

  • 4 lb Chuck Roast
  • 1 Packet Brown Gravy
  • 1 Packet Au Jus Mix
  • 1 Packet Good Seasonings Italian Dressing Mix
  • 1 Packet Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing Mix
  • 2 Cups Hot Water
  • 4 Cans Whole Potatoes drained

Instructions

  1. Put Chuck Roast in Crockpot (can be frozen to start).
  2. Pour all 4 cans of drained Potatoes around the roast.
  3. In a sperate bowl, mix all the packets together.
  4. Sprinkle the dry mix right on the roast.
  5. Pour the hot water around the roast in corners.
  6. Cover the Crockpot and cook on high 6-8 hours.

 

Crockpot Chicken and Noodles

Ingredients

  • 1 24 oz. Package Frozen Egg Noodles (Not Pictured in photo)
  • 2 14.7oz. Can Cream of Chicken
  • 1 Stick Butter
  • 1 32oz. Box Chicken Broth
  • 1 20oz. Bag Tyson Grilled & Ready Fully Cooked Pulled Chicken Breast
  • 1 Package Microwaveable Mashed Potatoes if desired

Instructions

  1. Pour the entire bag of Pulled Chicken Breasts into the Crockpot.
  2. Pour 2 cans of Cream of Chicken over the meat.
  3. Pour the box of Chicken Broth over that and mix a little.
  4. Cut 1 stick of butter on top of mixture.
  5. Cook in Crockpot for 6 hours.
  6. Add entire package of Frozen Egg Noodles, stir, and cook an additional 2 hours.
  7. Serve on top of Mashed Potatoes (if desired).

 

Crockpot Potato Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 30 oz. Bag Frozen Diced Hash Browns
  • 1 30 oz. Box Chicken Broth
  • 1 10 oz. Can Cream of Chicken
  • 1 8 oz. Package Cream Cheese
  • 3 oz Bacon Bits
  • 1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • Salt and Pepper taste

Instructions

  1. Pour Hash Browns into Crockpot.
  2. Pour Chicken Broth over Hash Browns.
  3. Add Cream of Chicken, Bacon Bits, Salt and Pepper.
  4. Cover Crockpot and cook on low for 8 hours, adding Cream Cheese 1 hour before complete.
  5. Serve topped with Cheddar Cheese and extra Bacon Bits
